Annual Eucharistic Devotions – 40 Hours

Annual Eucharistic Devotions, October 29, 30 and 31

Father Don Bender, the new pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Enola, will be our guest homilist for this year’s Annual Eucharistic Devotions on Sunday and Monday evenings.

The schedule is as follows:

Sunday, October 29:

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place at the end of the 11:30 am Mass and continue throughout the afternoon.  Evening Prayer and Benediction will be celebrated at 5 p.m.

Monday, October 30:

6:30 am Mass will be held as usual.  Morning Prayer of the Church with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be celebrated at 9 am.  The Church will be open all day for visitation and quiet prayer.  The Saint Joseph School children will be making visits as a class throughout the day.  Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, October 31:

Mass will be held at 9 am, ending with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.  The Church will be open all day for visitation and quiet prayer.  The Saint Joseph School children will be making visits as a class throughout the day.  The anticipated Mass of Obligation for All Saints Day is at 7 p.m.  (Father Bender will not be with us this day, as he has Holy Day duties at his parish.)

As we continue our process of Parish and Personal Transformation, the invitation is given to every parishioner to meet our Lord Jesus in the quiet and peace of this special time of year.  Even if you make a visit for just a few minutes, the Lord’s grace is there to envelope you.  We are blessed to have Father Bender with us for Sunday and Monday evenings, so please make the time in your busy schedules to attend these ceremonies.  Our 7th and 8th graders in the Confirmation Preparation Program are reminded that the evening ceremonies on Sunday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 31 are “Grace Note” events.
