Bishop’s Lenten Appeal

Mission Statement: To contact parishioners asking for their support of the Lenten Appeal which provides funding to the Bishop for pastoral education and charitable services in the 15 counties of the Diocese of Harrisburg.

The Bishop’s Annual Lenten Appeal provides support for numerous programs, including counseling services, foster care, Lourdes House, a runaway shelter, Hope House (for those suffering with AIDS), immigration services, interfaith homeless shelters, and educational and parish ministries. Volunteers are needed to assist with parish mailings, making phone calls and leadership in directing the program.

Thank you for your generosity to the Bishop’s Annual Lenten Appeal.  These funds go toward meeting the needs of our Diocese and ensuring that valuable programs sponsored by our Diocese have the means to continue to fulfill the Lord’s mission. If you have pledged money, please remember to follow through on your pledges. God Bless you!
